What advice have you received that has been the most rewarding?
"Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life."
Who do you admire the most?
As goofy as it sounds, I admire my Dad the most. I admire his strength, his business and family knowledge, his pride, his accomplishments and mostly his humility.
What is the most interesting thing you have in your purse/wallet?
I went to take a look! It is a mending kit (with lots of different colors of thread) that I got for free from a stay at the Radisson Hotel over 20 years ago. I guess I haven't had to do any emergency mending. It is funny that I still manage to move it to my new purses "just in case".
If you could be any animal, what would it be and why?
Well it is not an animal. It is a cephalopod- an octopus!! I'd love 8 arms to do the work and 1 brain controlling it all. I also wouldn't mind opposing thumbs to go with those tentacles. I 'd be a powerhouse!
What is one of the things you would put on your “bucket” list?
I would love to volunteer at an elephant reserve. I would love to get some dirt on my hands and really be a part of the healing process.
If you had access to a time machine, where would you go and why?
I think I'd take a return trip to 10 years from today. There is something that I would find very comforting about seeing how the decisions I am making now will affect those around me down the road. If I wasn't happy with the outcome, my return trip would allow me to adjust my sails to make things better.
