Who do you admire the most and why?
Comandante Ernesto Che Guevara – Revolutionary leader, physician, philosopher, author, poet, diplomat, political economist, minister of industry, bank president, distinguished soldier, insatiable reader, Time Magazine icon of the century… Why?...Because of his cultural depth, incisiveness, irony, intelligence and passion achieving so much and more at a very young age.
If you could be any animal what would it be and why?
Black Wolfe. Why? It is a symbol of loyalty, faithful, honesty, and willing to fight injustice.
What was your favourite book growing up and why?
A Message to Garcia. Why? The message is taking on a difficult task and doing whatever it takes in the face of adversity to find a way to get the job done.
If you could teach any subject what would it be and why?
Organizational negotiation and listening skills. Why? I have studied this extensively and love to use negotiation strategies in dealing with clients in difficult situations.
What advice have you received that has been the most rewarding?
To be patient, calm and organized. Listen and analyze rather that react. Try to get as much information about parties and the situation. The “win/win” idea generally results in completed transactions with clients that are satisfied.
